Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3/4 cup parmesean cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 pine nuts
  • 1 lb Trofie style pasta noodles

Instructions
 

  • blend all ofthe ingredients ( except noodles} in a Vitamix blender
  • Cook 1 pound Trofie noodles, drain, and toss with the fresh pesto

Notes

In the Ligurian Region of Italy is where Pesto originated. It is always served on Trofie Style noodles
