Chicken Noodle Soup

Easy Chicken Noodle Soup
This recipe is quick and easy and everyone on my family liked it
Equipment
- 1 Dutch Oven
Ingredients
- 1 yellow onion diced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- salt a dash of salt
- 1 lb shredded rotisserie chicken meat
- 1 stalk of celery sliced
- 2 carrots sliced
- 80 oz chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 16 oz Grandmas Wide Egg Noodles
Instructions
- Sauté onion in olive oil and butter until golden
- add all remaining ingredients except (noodles)
- bring to a low boil and let simmer about 10 minutes add noodles frozen and slowly break apart with a fork once return to a low boil cook until noodles are cooked thru 10-20 minutes
Notes
To make this recipe easy I will use shredded rotisserie chicken from the deli
I will also put everything in the pot earlier in the day. At dinner time I heat up the soup and add the noodles
I like to serve with salad and French bread
