Chicken Noodle Soup

Easy Chicken Noodle Soup

This recipe is quick and easy and everyone on my family liked it

  • 1 Dutch Oven


  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt a dash of salt
  • 1 lb shredded rotisserie chicken meat
  • 1 stalk of celery sliced
  • 2 carrots sliced
  • 80 oz chicken broth
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 16 oz Grandmas Wide Egg Noodles


  • Sauté onion in olive oil and butter until golden
  • add all remaining ingredients except (noodles)
  • bring to a low boil and let simmer about 10 minutes add noodles frozen and slowly break apart with a fork once return to a low boil cook until noodles are cooked thru 10-20 minutes


To make this recipe easy I will use shredded rotisserie chicken from the deli
I will also put everything in the pot earlier in the day. At dinner time I heat up the soup and add the noodles
I like to serve with salad and French bread
