Classic Meatloaf
Classic Meatloaf with Tangy Tomato Sauce
a dish of ground meat, often mixed with other ingredients like breadcrumbs and seasonings (in this recipe it is oatmeal), the meat mixture is then molded in the shape of a ring and baked.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds hamburger
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup oatmeal
- 3/4 cup diced onion
Sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tbs vinegar
- dash salt and pepper
Instructions

- combine hamburger, milk, oatmeal, onion and dash of salt and pepper and form into a ring in a casserole or baking dish
- bake at 350 degrees F uncovered for 1 hour. At 45 minutes remove any excess grease from baking dish. Top with sauce and continue baking for 15 minutes
Sauce
- add ketchup, water vinegar and sugar to saucepan. cook and stir about 15 minutes until sauce begins to boil
